The History of Concrete — Review
John Wilson’s film, The History of Concrete, is without a doubt the greatest documentary/Hallmark movie/rockumentary about concrete and DMX that I’ve ever seen. That’s because it’s the only documentary/Hallmark movie/rockumentary about concrete and DMX I’ve ever seen. Confused? Allow me to explain. The film’s premise is simple: Wilson attends a workshop on how to write a Hallmark movie and decides to use that formula to sell a documentary about concrete. Explaining the actual film itself, however, is a lot less simple.
